Enjoy the unexpected treasures on display, such as our collection of Presidential Christmas cards or the original Winston Churchill painting, “Jamaica Beach.” You’ll have a chance to walk through our history, talk face-to-face with our craftspeople and see real Hallmark cards being made.

We’re honored to have members of the military visit with us. We encourage you to let us know you’re on active duty or are a veteran, so we can recognize your service to our country.

There’s so much to see and do … all we need is you! And, remember, it’s FREE! Click here to schedule your visit. And while you’re in our neighborhood, you might enjoy these other popular military destinations after you tour the Hallmark Visitors Center:

  • The National World War I Museum at Liberty Memorial, located adjacent to the Hallmark Visitors Center. It is the only museum in the nation devoted solely to WWI.
  • The VFW National Headquarters, located a few blocks south of the Hallmark Visitors Center at Linwood and Broadway.
  • Kansas City’s Vietnam Veterans Fountain and Memorial, a few miles south of the Hallmark Visitors Center on 43rd Street and Broadway.
  • The Truman Presidential Museum and Library in neighboring Independence, Mo., about 25 minutes east of the Hallmark Visitors Center.
  • Fort Leavenworth, about an hour from the Hallmark Visitors Center. Fort Leavenworth houses the oldest continuously active Army post west of the Mississippi River and is home to the Military Command and General Staff School, the Buffalo Soldiers Monument and a free museum.
